LA LIBIA DEL KARATE VINCE A VENEZIA
Si è svolta al palazzetto dello sport di Caorle, Venezia, la coppa Europea Libertas di Karate con la partecipazione allargata anche alle nazionali extraeuropee Wkf . A questa competizione che ha visto la partecipazione di oltre 500 atleti era presente anche la Libia nelle categorie seniores, – (84 kg) con Alsouwee Mohamed, nono al mondo nella sua categoria, il quale ha vinto ben 4 incontri aggiudicandosi la finale nella sua categoria e portando a casa una medaglia d’oro; mentre l’atleta che aveva già vinto l’argento del campionato di Serie A Wkf in Indonesia, Aboudabous Mohamed Amhed, ha gareggiato vincendo con eleganza e tecnica. Il team ha ringraziato il coach Giuseppe Romano per il lavoro svolto esultando di gioia per i premi vinti. Nella categoria Juniores (68 kg) Alduweebi Bashir, secondo nel ranking Olimpico, ha dominato vincendo tutti i sei incontri ed entusiasmando la folla del Palasport Valter Vicentini di Caorle. Dopo le tre medaglie d’oro conquistate è arrivata la telefonata, al coach italiano Giuseppe Romano, dal Presidente della federazione Libica di Karate che si è complimentato per il grande lavoro svolto finora e per le vittorie. In conferenza stampa, al termine dell’evento, il professor Giuseppe Romano ha dichiarato: “I ragazzi si allenano con serietà, seguendo le mie indicazioni, per ben 5 ore al giorno; la mattina è dedicata alla preparazione atletica e la sera solo al karate, con la lezione di tecnica e di tattica. Sono molto soddisfatto del lavoro e dai risultati che premiano una squadra impegnata e molto concentrata sugli obiettivi”.
Il prossimo impegno è previsto per domenica 12 novembre in Campania agli Open Internazionali Adidas, e poi il 7 dicembre a Jesolo per un’altra importante gara:la World Youlth League 2023.

KARATE LIBYA WINS IN VENICE
The Libertas European Karate Cup took place at the sports hall of Caorle, Venice, with the participation also extended to the non-European WKF national teams. At this competition that saw the participation of over 500 athletes there was also Libya in the senior categories, – (84 kg) with Alsouwee Mohamed, ninth in the world in his category, who won 4 matches winning the final in his category and taking home a gold medal; while the athlete who had already won the silver medal of the Serie A WKF championship in Indonesia, Aboudabous Mohamed Amhed, competed winning with elegance and technique. The team thanked coach Giuseppe Romano for the work done, exulting with joy for the awards won. In the Junior category (68 kg) Alduweebi Bashir, second in the Olympic ranking, dominated by winning all six matches and thrilling the crowd at the Palasport Valter Vicentini in Caorle. After the three gold medals won, the phone call came to the Italian coach Giuseppe Romano, by the President of the Libyan Karate Federation who congratulated for the great work done so far and for the victories. At the press conference, at the end of the event, Professor Giuseppe Romano said: “The boys train seriously, following my instructions, for 5 hours a day; The morning is dedicated to athletic training and in the evening only to karate, with technique and tactics lessons. I am very satisfied with the work and the results that reward a committed team that is very focused on the goals.”
The next engagement is scheduled for Sunday, November 12 in Campania at the Adidas International Open, and then on December 7 in Jesolo for another important race: the World Youlth League 2023.
