IL 4 MARZO, “FINALMENTE” SI VOTA. UNICA SCHEDA,

NON SARA’ POSSIBILE IL VOTO DISGIUNTO

È iniziato il conto alla rovescia: tra meno di un mese saremo chiamati alle urne per votare il nuovo Parlamento. A chi affidarsi? Destra, sinistra o centro? È l’eterno dilemma, tutto italiano al pari dello Shakespiriano “essere o non essere”, anche se per molti la frase equivalente è: “votare o non votare”, questo è il problema!
Nella Repubblica che ha superato da un pezzo “gli anta” negli ultimi decenni sono cambiate tante cose, a cominciare dalle priorità di governo stabilite in maniera unilaterale dalla stessa classe parlamentare, dove classe si usa per comodità di scrittura!
Dai vitalizi alle scadenze fiscali variate all’ultimo minuto, fino ad arrivare all’irresistibile voglia di salvare le banche e di approvare le coppie di fatto, e approvare una legge cambiando il nome, da eutanasia a bio-testamento, come se il problema del fine vita fosse definitivamente risolto. Sul tappeto, nel senso pugilistico, restano tutte le altre questioni: immigrazione, Sicurezza, Giustizia, Sanità, pensioni…. C’è un detto antico che recita così: “ chi semina vento raccoglie tempesta”. Se la vittoria dei 5Stelle, (secondo i sondaggi che contano sarebbe addirittura schiacciante) rappresenta una tempesta, allora, prepariamoci allo Tsunami, perché è questo che attende il Belpaese. Il malcontento ha raggiunto livelli di esasperazione. C’è da attendersi un forte astensionismo ma anche un deciso voto di protesta che non sarà certamente dato a chi ha fatto e fa parte del Sistema.
Veniamo al Sud. La candidatura della Lega al Meridione rappresenta una sconfitta per quanti si sono battuti per la questione Meridionale, un nome su tutti: Giustino Fortunato. Di contemporanei non ve ne sono, li avrei citati ben volentieri. Un adolescente che vive a Reggio Calabria, a Potenza o ad Avellino ( per citare solo alcuni esempi) non ha, oggi come ieri, le stesse opportunità di un coetaneo di Brescia, Bergamo,Padova…è un dato di fatto, non una opinione personale. Basta guardare le graduatorie annuali stilate per rendicontare la qualità della vita nelle città e nelle province italiane. I Servizi migliori sono al Nord: infrastrutture, strade, collegamenti di rete, logistica…Domanda: perché tutto questo? Perché lo sviluppo al Sud si è, praticamente, fermato all’epoca dei Borbone? Semplice: chi ha rappresentato in epoche successive i Territori non è stato all’altezza del compito! Quel “Cristo si è fermato ad Eboli” , di Carlo Levi, sembra sia stato presentato solo ieri, eppure sono trascorsi oltre 70anni (1945).La presenza di politici e illuminati studiosi di Meridionalismo ha permesso di sollevare il problema ma non di risolverlo! Chi vive oggi al Sud è isolato al pari di chi emigrò al nord negli anni 50 e 60 per trovare lavoro, c’è tuttavia una sostanziale differenza: oggi anche il settentrione d’Italia è in crisi, le nuove frontiere guardano all’estero, nei Paesi dove non è arrivato l’euro, e dove, soprattutto, non è arrivata una classe politica e sindacale da cinepanettone. La politica è una cosa seria, non un affare per pochi ma un modo civile e responsabile per crescere, per migliorare le condizioni di vita di tutti.
Carolyn Warner, politico americano e studiosa, autrice di numerosi testi, ha scritto che
“ anni fa le fiabe iniziavano con C’era una volta…oggi sappiamo che iniziano tutte con …Se sarò eletto!”.

The countdown has begun: in less than a month, we will be called to the polls to vote for the new Parliament. Who to rely on? Right, left or center? It is the eternal problem, all Italian like the Shakespearean “to be or not to be”, even if for many the equivalent phrase is: “vote or not vote”, this is the problem!In the Republic that has long since surpassed “the door” in the last decades many things have changed, starting from the priorities of government unilaterally established by the same parliamentary class, where class is used for convenience of writing!From the annuities to the tax deadlines changed at the last minute, up to the irresistible desire to save the banks and to approve the de facto couples, and approve a law changing the name, from euthanasia to bio-testament, as if the problem of end of life was definitively resolved. On the carpet, in the pugilistic sense, all other questions remain: immigration, security, justice, health, pensions …. There is an ancient saying that reads like this: “who sows wind collects storm”. If the victory of the 5Stelle, (according to the polls that count would be even overwhelming) is a storm, then, let’s prepare for the Tsunami, because this is what awaits the Belpaese. Discontent has reached exasperation levels. There is to be expected a strong abstention but also a definite vote of protest that will certainly not be given to those who have done and are part of the system.We come to the South. The candidacy of the League to the South represents a defeat for those who fought for the Southern question, a name for all: Giustino Fortunato. There are no contemporaries, I would have mentioned them willingly. A teenager who lives in Reggio Calabria, Potenza or Avellino (to city just a few examples) does not have, today as yesterday, the same opportunities as a contemporary of Brescia, Bergamo, Padova… it’s a fact, not a personal opinion. Just look at the annual rankings drawn up to report the quality of life in Italian cities and provinces. The best services are in the North: infrastructure, roads, network connections, logistics … Question: why all this? Why has development in the South practically stopped at the time of the Borbone? Simple: those who represented in the following epochs the Territories did not live up to the task! That “Christ stopped at Eboli”, by Carlo Levi, seems to have been presented only yesterday, but more than 70 years have passed (1945). The presence of politicians and enlightened scholars of Meridionalism has allowed to raise the problem but not to solve it! Who lives today in the South is isolated like those who emigrated to the north in the 50s and 60s to find work, but there is a substantial difference: today even the north of Italy is in crisis, the new frontiers look abroad, in countries where the euro did not arrive, and where, above all, a cinepanettone political and trade union did not arrive. Politics is a serious matter, not a business for the few but a civil and responsible way to grow, to improve everyone’s living conditions.Carolyn Warner, American politician and scholar, author of numerous texts, wrote that “Years ago, fairy tales began with Once upon a time … today we know that they all start with … If I will be elected!”.
